My big day!

 Stuck at this lousy desk until 9pm

I was only able to squeeze in a bit of exercise before dinner at 10pm.

Also I had been doing infinite shitting all day thanks to some muscat grapes I got at a great bargain.

What a day to usher in 45!

Fully vaccinated

 I can now put this pandemic behind me!

SG is one of the few countries in Asia with ample access to the highly effective mRNA vaccine.  I had not expected that coming to SG for work reason would allow me to receive it.  Destiny indeed dealt me the best possible hand. 

Man man unagi rice

 

Absolutely mind-blowingly delicious.  This is as good as they say. The combination of the roasted eel, rice, and the light stock that packs a huge punch is simply heavenly.  Gastronomical knockout!

Countdown to emancipation

 2nd shot of mRNA vaccine.

The COVID situation has been an aghast tragedy for mankind but the production of highly effective vaccine in record breaking time is a testament of mankind greatness, defying the adversity dealt to us with a beautiful comeback.

While I’m under no illusion that the world will go back to how it was, but as far as I am concerned,  having receive these miraculous vaccines, there is good hope and realistic chances that I can return to a life with many elements that resemble closely to our past life. This is indeed a distinct privilege and I’m hugely humbled by my great fortune.

Therefore I’m quietly harbouring optimism and high spirits, which will inevitably blossom into full blown glee and snobbishness in a few weeks, when my antibodies fully develop to allow me to put this whole pandemic behind me from my own selfish, narrow but irrefutable perspective.
