Had to joy to experience a 5 hour delay, and be compensated with a refreshment pack 

Also tried the legendary a&w coney dog separately. Soft warm bread, Al Dante sausage, rich satisfying onion sauce.  It was a pleasant surprise. 

And I clocked 17k steps getting shoved around throughout the day.

Many years ago I heard on a HK radio station an overview of the Sherlock Holmes series. It was a captivating session, and I thought what a captivating journey it would have been to read all the stories 

Some time later I chanced upon the first and second collection of short stories and I found them to be absolute page turners, and decided that they were the best books I ever read. I found out that the author had decided to retire the character after that but relented to reviving it. I hence decided not to read those subsequent works that the author reluctantly wrote

I just finished the second novel and is on my third. Once I finish all four novels I will consider my magical journey compete. 

The four novels of the canon:

1. A Study in Scarlet (1887)
2. The Sign of the Four (1890)
3. The Hound of the Baskervilles (1901–1902)
4. The Valley of Fear (1914–1915)

The 56 short stories are collected in five books:

1. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1892)

4. His Last Bow (1917)
